Middle Tennessee posts 3-2 win over Saint Louis in the 11th
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee and Saint Louis baseball teams engaged in a pitching duel for much of afternoon at Reese Smith Jr. Field on Saturday, but Hank LaRue came up big when it counted, knocking in the winning run in the bottom of the 11th to secure the first win of the season for the Blue Raiders.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - A Johnny Thomas three-run blast gave Middle Tennessee an early lead, but it wouldn't last as the Blue Raiders ultimately fell to visiting Kansas 7-3 in the 2012 baseball season opener on Friday evening at Reese Smith Jr. Field.
